Eric and Jenna met in November 2020 thanks to Bumble. They decided to meet for dinner and drinks at Copycat on H street and in true Jenna fashion, she was 20 minutes late. The restaurant had no record of their reservation and they had a 40-minute first date while trying to make small talk, eat, drink, and make a great first impression. They ended the night at Red Bear Brewery and met for two more dates before Jenna left for Chicago for six weeks.

Jenna told Eric she planned on moving to Colorado the summer of 2021 and somehow it didn't scare him off. They started dating at the end of January and the rest was history! The couple now share the goal of moving to Colorado one day, but Washington, DC is home for now.

After two and a half years of game nights, traveling, new jobs, exploring DC, and an apartment in Capitol Hill together, Eric proposed on April 21, 2023 at the Navy Yard waterfront in front of their friends. Being the planner that he is, Eric organized friends from out of town and close by to celebrate with an engagement party the next day.

Eric and Jenna can't wait to celebrate with friends and family this year!
